Ingredients
- 5-7 juniper berries (pink peppercorns work well with this drink, too)
- 3 oz of Terra Gin
- Ice (Lots! Nothing beats an ice-cold Gin and Tonic)
- 2-3 dashes of grapefruit bitters
- 2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters
- 6-7 oz of tonic (I used a 6.8 oz bottle of Fever Tree Indian Tonic)
- A few slices each of: Lemon and Orange (Any variety will do)
- Persian cucumbers sliced to line the glass
- Sprig of rosemary
Directions
- I like to serve this Gin and Tonic in a large burgundy style wine glass, but any style glass will do. Add your juniper berries to the glass along with the 3 oz of Terra Gin. I usually let the berries soak in the gin while I prep the fruit and cucumber slices. Fill glass 3/4 of the way with ice. Add the dashes of both grapefruit and angostura butters, stir till combined.
- Add the sliced cucumbers along the sides of the glass, then add the sliced lemon and oranges. (I use a chopstick to help move the cucumber along the glass.) Pour in the tonic, add a sprig of rosemary and enjoy!
