Champagne Kumquat Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Kumquat Compote with Cognac, 2-3 pieces with sauce
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitter
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 6 oz chilled Champagne
  • Cinnamon stick and kumquat for garnish

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, stir the kumquats, bitter, and sugar together to dissolve the sugar and place the mixture in the bottom of a champagne flute.
  2. Pour the champagne into the glass and enjoy with a cinnamon stick wrapped with a tender kumquat for garnish.
