Ingredients

1 tsp Kumquat Compote with Cognac, 2-3 pieces with sauce
2 dashes Angostura bitter
½ tsp sugar
6 oz chilled Champagne
Cinnamon stick and kumquat for garnish

Directions

In a small bowl, stir the kumquats, bitter, and sugar together to dissolve the sugar and place the mixture in the bottom of a champagne flute.
Pour the champagne into the glass and enjoy with a cinnamon stick wrapped with a tender kumquat for garnish.
