In this spiced spin on a classic cocktail, pomegranate molasses and smoked cinnamon maple syrup take the place of the traditional fresh lemon juice and sugar. Easy to make, easy to drink, and perhaps just a bit dangerous.
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass full of ice. Shake well to combine, taste, and add more of either syrup if you prefer it more sweet or tart. Shake again to mix, and keep notes for next time.
Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and enjoy. Then perhaps make yourself another...
- To give the drink a spicier profile and a bit more heft, try muddling a teaspoon of Spiced Raisin Marmalata in the mixing glass before you make the drink.
