I think that citrus should be in as many dishes as possible, and I am always excited for blood orange season. This recipe is the proof that making a great dessert does not require much but good ingredients and the right spice.

 

Blood Orange Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 blood oranges, peeled and supremed
  • 1 pint of orange sorbet (or any other citrus, lemon, grapefruit, etc)
  • Olive oil
  • Mishmish N33 spice
  • 4 sprigs of cilantro, washed and dried

Directions

  1. Divide the blood orange segments into 4 serving bowls. Drizzle some olive oil on top and sprinkle some Mishmish spice over it.
  2. Place a scoop (or more) of sorbet in each bowl and garnish with a few cilantro leaves.
  3. Enjoy.
