The secret to a great Bloody Mary is the seasoning, so Jim Meehan asked renowned spice blender Lior Lev Sercarz to create custom spice blends for his bespoke mixes, which showcase the unique characteristics of each Bloody’s base spirit.

Vodka provides a clear canvas that allows the Bloody Mary mix to stand out, so hold the salad bar: this one doesn’t require a sideshow.

      Ingredients

      • 4 oz. tomato juice
      • 11⁄2 oz. vodka
      • 1⁄4 oz. lemon juice
      • 1⁄4 oz. lime juice
      • 1⁄4 oz. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
      • 1⁄2 tsp. Gold’s horseradish
      • 1⁄2 tsp. B-Mary
      • 1⁄4 tsp. Cholula hot sauce

      For the garnish

      • Celery stalk

      Directions

      1. Build in a mixing glass then fill with ice

      2. Roll (pour into another glass then back again a couple times) then fine strain into a chilled pint glass filled with ice

      3. Garnish with a celery stalk
