Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Five Spice
  • 1 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • Zest and juice of 1 lime
  • 4 Tbsp soy sauce or gluten free tamari
  • 1 tsp CRP (optional for added heat)
  • 4 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs (or your favorite cut of chicken)

Directions

  1. Mix all of the marinade ingredients together to combine well.
  2. Add the chicken and mix well to coat thoroughly.
  3. Leave to marinate at least 4 hours.
  4. Preheat the grill on high heat (or use a grill pan or broiler).
  5. Remove each piece of chicken from the marinade and place onto the grill.
  6. Allow the chicken to develop a nice sear before turning and continuing to cook.
  7. Continue grilling about 10 minutes total, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  8. Allow the chicken to rest for 10 minutes before serving warm with extra lime wedges.
