Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Five Spice
- 1 tsp granulated garlic
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- Zest and juice of 1 lime
- 4 Tbsp soy sauce or gluten free tamari
- 1 tsp CRP (optional for added heat)
- 4 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp avocado oil
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs (or your favorite cut of chicken)
Directions
- Mix all of the marinade ingredients together to combine well.
- Add the chicken and mix well to coat thoroughly.
- Leave to marinate at least 4 hours.
- Preheat the grill on high heat (or use a grill pan or broiler).
- Remove each piece of chicken from the marinade and place onto the grill.
- Allow the chicken to develop a nice sear before turning and continuing to cook.
- Continue grilling about 10 minutes total, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Allow the chicken to rest for 10 minutes before serving warm with extra lime wedges.
