Tahini Labne Cream is one of my pantry's secret weapons. You can spread it on a piece of bread, use it as a quick frosting, or even add it to shakes and smoothies for sweetness and texture. In this recipe it creates an instant "pastry cream" like mix without cooking. The labne supplies a nice tang and the tahini some additional nutty notes.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup vanilla tahini 
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup labne 
  • 1 tsp Orchidea 
  • -
  • 2 cups granola 
  • 2 cups pitted cherries cut in half
  • Halva Floss 

Directions

  1. In a bowl whisk together the vanilla tahini and water to combine.  Then add the labne and orchidea and whisk again.  The Tahini Labne Cream can be made ahead and stored refrigerated.
  2. Spoon some tahin labne cream in the bottom of a glass or bowl and top with some granola and cherries. Repeat twice more with the same layers.
  3. Finish the parfait with a sprinkle of Orchidea and a bit of halva floss. Enjoy!
