Peace Porridge

I spice oatmeal with this wonderful combination. My husband is diabetic so I don’t add anything but a teaspoon of Reims to the oats as they are cooking. It has just enough sweetness to be tasty and healthy, too. Add a few blueberries or a couple of cut strawberries (or both) to the bowl and you have restaurant-quality gourmet porridge!!

Reims

I recently brought Reims into our life! The first time, we sprinkled it on vanilla gelato, the purist’s way of assessing its taste. The cardamom and star anise were unexpected (to our guests) and simply delicious. Great choice…on my part!!!!

Reims and Oats and Does Eat Oats…

I use Reims every time my husband and I have oatmeal. Boil the appropriate amount of water, add the oats and a teaspoon or two of Reims. Let it cook a minute or so. Then turn off the heat and cover for another five more minutes. There’s no need for added sugar…!
