Savor the refreshing flavors of a fresh cucumber and basil gimlet.  We used a fresh, uncooked syrup of Persian cucumbers and basil to balance the lime and our clean and floral Terra Gin.

 

Cucumber Basil Gimlet

Ingredients

  • 2 Persian cucumbers, cut into 1” pieces and frozen
  • ½ cup basil leaves
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Pinch of salt
  • -
  • 2 ounces gin, we recommend Terra Gin
  • 1 ounces lime juice
  • 4 ounces cucumber basil syrup
  • -
  • Basil leaves and cucumber slices for garnish

Directions

  1. Place the frozen cucumber, basil leaves, sugar, water and salt into a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. In a shaker full of ice, add the gin, lime juice, and basil syrup.
  3. Shake to chill and strain into a chilled glass.
  4. Enjoy!
