I have a 4-year-old at home, and sometimes I just need to put something quick together for him or me to eat. Thankfully with the right spices on hand this is easy to do without feeling boring or tasting flat. This "recipe" is just a few flavor tweaks away from what you already know, but is so much more delicious.
Ingredients
-
1 slice of bread, a whole grain white is nice
-
Sliced cooked turkey breast (deli or homemade)
-
Tomato & White Sultana Chutney
-
Arugula or other greens
Directions
Add a thin layer of mayonnaise to one side of the bread then slice it in half.
Add as much turkey as you like, a thin layer of the chutney, and arugula or other greens.
If you're quite hungry just make one using two slices of bread instead.

Flavor Boost:
If you're making turkey breast at home, try seasoning it with Izak 37 or Chaat Masala before roasting. Or just mix a bit of either blend in the mayo when making the sandwich.
• This sandwich is also excellent as a melt. Use fontina or pepperjack for the cheese and serve with a lightly dressed salad instead of putting the greens in.
• Vegetarian? Omit the turkey and make the sandwich a grilled cheese instead. Follow the instructions here but use fontina or pepperjack for the cheese, and put some of the chutney inside, like you would a slice of tomato.
